Thermadome Hinged Smoke Vent

140° Hinged Opening Automatic Opening Vents from the Thermadome Rooflight Range

Therma-vent smoke vent rooflights are available in a range of standard sizes and with various glazing options (i.e. single, double or triple skin polycarbonate with a clear, opal diffused or bronze finish to them). The 140° Therma-Vent smoke vent rooflight can also be supplied to provide a means of access to the roof. The product can be supplied with the 24v actuator fitted to one side of the opening to ensure safe unrestricted access to the roof.

A typical Thermadome smoke ventilation system includes a 140° Therma-vent automatic opening vent located at the highest point of an escape route staircase or at the top of a smoke shaft. Smoke detectors and manual control points are normally located on each floor. The system can be controlled by a Therma-vent control panel.

This Thermadome Therma-vent rooflight is supplied with a PVC kerb and when supplied with a triple skin polycarbonate top will meet Part L of the building regulations and it will also comply to BSEN12101-2.

Both smoke vent rooflights can be supplied with a control panel with a battery backup, a firemans switch and a smoke detector. They are supplied ready to install to either roof apertures or existing kerbs and all internal wiring is complete and tested. This enables quick installation times with vertually no scope for wiring errors.
